President Donald Trump’s administration is making fast and far reaching changes to immigration in the U.S, during his first week in office, Trump signed 10 executive orders and proclamations centered on immigration.Β 

These policies have sent shockwaves through immigrant communities in Michigan, especially in Southwest Detroit, where a high concentration of Latino and Hispanic immigrants live.

WDET reporter Bre’Anna Tinsley spent some time in Southwest Detroit during a recent immigrant rights rally.Β
