Today’s In the Groove traveled from the breezy, soulful sounds of Papooz, Shuggie Otis and Ana Frango Elétrico to classic rock, indie pop and psychedelia. Also: stops along the way from David Bowie, The Kinks and The Beatles for a Throwback Thursday.

The second half featured plenty of fresh music, including 2026 releases from Jack White, Tyler Ballgame, Dry Cleaning, Marisa Anderson and Hermanos Gutiérrez.
