This week on Visions, I venture all over the musical map. From an 11-piece ensemble that features tuba, to jazz á la Bach, to samba, this episode covers a lot of ground.

Bringing this music to life is  John Coltrane, Eddie Daniels, Rhoda Scott, Dizzy Gillespie, Joanne Brackeen, Connie Crothers, Eddie Harris & Wendell Harrison and Abbey Lincoln.

I include selections from esperanza spalding, Wynton Marsalis, and Sylvia Cuenca, and recent releases from Renee Rosnes, SEED Ensemble, Jazzmeia Horn and Sasha Berliner.

Happy listening!
